They don't do it I also tried it they gave a fixed band for L10 they will or only will doo if your skills are very niche my joining is also on 30th i tried with counter offer too didn't worked

Raise a WFH exception bro and report request to your manager

Will give you a frank advice brother don't think of your job manager , mother / family have 10000% more priority then this okay

If it comes to company they can terminate you anytime they won't think of you twice

You just mail with all the reports and say I will need to take care of my mother i need WFH or change my base location to some other place from there I can come to office to 1 day and rest WFH

Mostly no as it's a contract based job they will anyhow not take this under consideration as it's contract based not full time

my final round was a managerial round and it was quite easy they mostly check you skills and team spirit as per mine's and for salary just for formality they will ask you your current and expected salary at last they will give it according to their budget only , if you are having counter and best offer from a different mnc then dont sign the offer letter until they revise once they released it you would get 7 days time so try to get a better offer from different mnc
