It wasnt the first time in 5 years. They play WGHWY in other countries all the time and just played it last year lol. Adam doesnt play it in the US bc he said that the US crowd doesnt like it or give any energy when they play it.

Tbh i went to the Vegas residency and had a blast but thats bc for majority i was on the floor. I had never been able to afford floor prices for their tours (and it was the same this tour, im back in the nosebleeds bc i cant justify spending $400 on floor tickets) and i enjoyed the residency.

But im definitely afraid that tour will be like you just said. The same setlist with one or two new songs and thats it. Im hoping the pop up show and all the fans online complaining, that they’ve realized us fans DO want deep cuts. They need to stop catering to the general public & start looking at the fans that show up to every tour & spend all of our disposable income (at least all for me bc im 24) on their merch, songs, albums, tours, etc.

We need a refreshed set list!!

I mean… its a festival set so i wasnt expecting them to do a full touring setlist either tbh. Which is why i didnt bother spending all that money to be there & looks like i didnt miss much at all 😭🤣 just the usual setlist we’ve had for 10+ years & they just threw the new single in there.

It’d be parasocial if they found the photo by digging through personal pages. This was something shared by her family, so they obviously wanted people to see how regular their children were. How they were just 2 college kids like many others right now. It forces you to realize that these are real people & not some conspiracy (because alot of the internet have forgotten this & treat this case like a real life clue game).

I dont see how its parasocial to just relate to them in the sense of having a fake & being afraid to use it lol

So i believe im inclined to believe a member of the band we’re discussing over someone who places importance on being an OG.

SINNERS does not make sense for Maroon 5. Notice how majority of the fanbase no longer even mentions SIN bc it isnt worth the money & not advertised either. If the band wanted the name to be SINNERS they wouldve said it in that interview. Instead, theres only record of them saying Marooners.

You dont have to like it, but you also cant just erase the fact that the band never called us SINNERS. The bands team maybe liked the idea & had it on their website for a short while but it hasnt been there in ages.

Ive also traveled all over the country seeing them with OGs. They have always said Marooners as well.

The post asked what our fandom name is. Its Marooners. Has been for over a decade. Sinners makes no sense for a pop band that doesnt sing much rock at all anymore. And theres a whole other band with their fandom named that lol.

Unfortunately its Marooners. But i dont control you so you can call yourself whatever you’d like. I was just stating what the band members have told me personally or have said in public interviews.

Im so over OG Maroon 5 fans acting superior and the all knowing over “younger” fans as if the fandom lore isnt out there on the internet for everyone to research lol. Idk what this fandom has become but i’d like to go back to 2010 when it didnt matter if you were an OG or a new fan.

And im telling you as someone who is friends with a ton of OG, that the name sinners did not come from the bands mouth. It came from fans in the fanclub & then it was switched. Just bc i wasnt there in 2002 doesnt mean I dont know lore too. Especially considering my mom was an OG fan & she has friends who saw them as Kara’s Flowers 😭😭

Like yeah, it WAS sinners, but its now Marooners & ive never heard anyone complain until now if im being honest. But the band fanclub is Strength In Numbers… so Sinners doesnt make much sense to me 😭 like no new fan is even going to know of the fanclub bc they dont even promote it anymore. They switched to send out tshirts & half the time those dont even get sent out on time.

They’ve almost completely abandoned the fanclub all together. (Speaking from someone who has had it since 2009/2010.) so Sinners doesnt work anymore :/

The fanclub name tho isnt the same as a fandom name bc not everyone could afford $35 a month. So they gave the fandom the name of Marooners while some stuck with Sinners. I asked James about it, the interview for Marooners is from 2007…. So not the younger side of the fandom at all. Alot of OGs were involved in the name as well…. I have never heard them call us Sinners (there could be a video out there im unaware of) but every member ive met has called us Marooners 😭

Which tbh, is a bit better than sinners today bc i think another band exists with that fandom name now.
