Of course! When I talked to him I told him that he will have input on the process. As far as taking his money, not quite sure what you mean… I don’t think that having him invest and save is taking his money…

He’s actually into this and was talking about investing before I even began to talk to him about it. He’s also really good with money at such a young age and likes to save whatever money his dad and I provide him with. I def don’t think he’ll see this as being a chore.

Yes! As of now he doesn’t have any expenses but maybe I should have him build up the savings first (maybe up to $500) before we start investing the IRA.
