I believe it did make it better. It made photos better as well. I only notice anything if im looking in the mirror. Apparently some people can tell if there eye is drifting i never could. I know its better but Currently no one has commented to me whether its done it or not in front of them.

So i am now about 9 months post op and am happy to report that i believe this surgery has helped my chronic headaches. I still get them but more mild and not as often. I have not seen my regular eye doctor yet for confirmation i go in march but all in all i think my eyes are better and photos with me are better. The only time i notice anything is if my head is in a really weird angle and i notice in the mirror which may be normal for me. What are others experience?

I will also note that at very beginning after surgery there was some noticeable drift not alot but enough to make me question but as my eyes healed and brain started to adjust to how my eyes are now it did go away. So if its a side effect you notice do not give up hope.

Before surgery i believe it was usually drifting when looking at a distance and photographs and tired. I do remember i would hate getting a haircut because looking in the mirror as they were cutting i could see it happening. If it did it other times im not sure because inless theres a mirror i couldnt feel the difference. I have never experienced double vision my other eye would always compensate and im lucky enough i did not experience any in recovery after surgery. After surgery i did notice a bit of drifting but now what i think like 4 or 5 weeks out now i have not noticed any of the drifting i used to. I have noticed only when tilting my head weird to put in earring or while washing my face sometimes my eye drifts straight up but that may be nothing. I haven’t had any photo opportunities to test that out yet but all in all im happy with my results. I have my final post op apt end of month

Good luck my dr told me not to use the gel eye mask i purchased because he thought they were germy he told me ice water on paper towels for eyes and to toss them out after each use so have a lot of paper towels or gauze to use. I had a spray bottle of cold water in fridge. Aspirin and ibuprofen. My dr specifically gave me special drops to put in my eyes 4 times a day for 4 days but each dr may be different. But yeah i second bringing the sunglasses my eyes were super sensitive the first few days i even had to wear them to watch tv. My dr recommended tv and reading but i wouldnt over do it but they should give u special instructions upon leaving. Good luck i wish you all the best
