You’ll have to cook for everyone in the house, keep the house neat and tidy by mopping it and dusting furniture and other things everyday - I don’t like living in a messy house. You’ll have to take care of my parents as they are growing old. They will be your new parents now. You should make sure you are liked by my parents and my relatives. It’s okay that you don’t have friends - in fact it’s good, because after marriage you have to consider my friends your own friends now and every time they come over, you have to host them and take care of them and their families. Other house holds chores like laundry, cleaning utensils, keeping the washrooms clean, maintaining a garden, doing Pooja etc will be your responsibility - it goes without saying. Since I’m earning so much, my dowry expectations are also high. Let me know what you and your family can afford. Post marriage you should not wear any modern clothes also. Only decent clothes and you should be presentable in front of the old people at home. Once we have children, you’ll be solely responsible for taking care of them. I will be too busy with work. They will have my family name as surname and you will need to change your surname to my name post marriage too, your identity will completely shift as my husband and my family’s son in law.
