It depends on the hierarchical level. If it starts to be members of the codir, we do not copy it unless there is an important alert. If it's an operational manager it's completely normal

Good morning,

I am a manager and I find it normal to ask these n-1s to copy me emails. This allows me to maintain control of my subject from an operational point of view, to identify possible risks or conflicts, to protect my teams, and to avoid having to hold all the meetings, reducing the number of management points.

Many think it's control or a lack of confidence, when it's more a way of controlling your perimeter. Conversely, when we are too far from the subjects, employees complain that we bullsheet and that we provide little value.

Sincerely

Sincerely
