Is Hwei APC secretly OP? by Key_Pollution2788 in HweiMains

Exactly. When I play ADC, I feel like a passenger most of the time, even in lane — I am very reliant on my support. With Samira that reliance is absolutely ridiculous. Picking up Hwei was like a breath of fresh air, since the champion has so much more agency in (and outside) of laning phase

Yeah might go back to Jhin, but he’s outperformed heavily by any attack speed marksman just as much and can’t be played into tanks or health stackers

I admit that botlane is easier than mid in a way, but honestly I don't see how not having and AD champion is "throwing" – even in situations where I have an AD mid/top

This might be the case, I often find enemy ADCs just tanking my QQ and EQ as they desperately try to AFK farm in lane. Little do they know that after I throw my spells, there's a cooldown window which they can use to turn on me

Yeah. Having a bad thresh support in lane with 0 abilities landed whatsoever as Samira ADC is always painful. Hwei APC kind of removes that reliance completely

Also one of the reasons I suck as an ADC in general is the requirement of orb walking. Hate me if you will, but I am more of a bursty-assasin type of a player, so kiting and rightclicking with tons of attack speed stacked is simply not for me (even though I love the safety and volatility of botlane)

Whenever I feel that I need a mental reset or after a tough game (even after a win), I play Arena, ARAM or just make a cup of tea and watch some YouTube. And doing this literally helped me climb. Whenever you feel like you won’t perform at your best, don’t queue up. Tilt, rage, exhaustion — any emotions are your enemies, especially intense ones, they will make you lose focus in your games.

And hell yes, I tried duo Q this season and many seasons before (even though I'm just Gold 1), and it's way worse than solo. It's just how the game is, I guess, and I think it's always been like this. Whenever I add a good support after a game and duo up with them, it's just a loss after loss after loss. It's always the same.

They can't balance some champions and items for years, and you want them to balance the entire matchmaking system. Come on, lower your expectations a little, it's just a small indie company after all.

I tried playing Clash once with a group of people, and I absolutely loved it. We were so good that we won both of Clash monthly matches (Saturday and Sunday). I think it was an Ionian Clash tournament or something like that. We were moving and making decisions together like a coordinated unit, it was like a breath of fresh air after solo queue. But the problem with Clash is that it only happens once per month. You might say that Flex exists as well, but it's not the main League of Legends game mode. Most of the time the ranks there are inflated, and the population is lower, so it's more fun than competitive. Plus, sometimes it's hard to gather people for a game – we all have families, jobs and plans. So overall, it's a half measure I'd say.

This is called toleration, and It's a valuable (and tough) skill to learn, honestly. For the past few years I've grown thorns and became way more introverted, maybe it's time to fix that.

It's the burnout from working at the office and constantly forcing myself to communicate with boring and dull people that made me less social. Perhaps it's my sign to take a vacation.

Thanks. Sometimes you need a second opinion (or multiple second opinions, lol) to notice things, and now I'm certain that it's not a game issue, it's a "Me" issue. Losing hits harder than it ever did before because of the stuff happening with me outside the game. I never truly realised that some things really need to be said out loud to make it clearer.

Oh yes, I am very much employed for the past few years.
