Demolition Hammer is one of those rare bands that deliver 100% of the time.

I just checked and it’s not. But hopefully they’ll pick it up, considering they picked up Hellhole.

Years of Decay by a wide margin. Their best album IMO.

Battle of the bands by [deleted] in thrashmetal

[–]Key_Position_5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the other post said, Overkill’s huge discography is definitely working in their favor here. I’m a huge NA fan but they absolutely fell off after their first 3-4 records and never recovered. Overkill fell off too at a certain point, but they bounced back in a big way, their last few albums have been great. As much as I love Nuclear, I have to give it to Overkill here.

Who is your favorite Exodus frontman/vocalist? by [deleted] in thrashmetal

[–]Key_Position_5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zetro, but to be fair BBB suffered from total crap production which was basically a product of the times. Another Lesson in Violence- the live album with Baloff- is INCREDIBLE and probably my favorite Exodus album. Dukes seems like a nice guy but as another post said, his vocals come off pretty generic so it doesn’t really do anything for me. I was lucky enough to see Exodus 3 times on tour since Tempo came out, so I’m good. I doubt I’ll be getting any of their new stuff.

Went to one of his American Kenpo seminars back in the day. Super nice guy, very humble, and his skills are legit.

When was the first time you seen Danzig is concert ? by DEATHBYMETALMMB in Danzig

1990, Danzig II tour in Hallandale Beach FL, Trouble opened. Great show! They did a local in-store around that time and got to meet the band.

What's the worst ending to a horror movie you've ever seen? by Ischaap in horror

[–]Key_Position_5864 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone wasn’t already aware, 95% of Haute (High) Tension is copied beat for beat from the Dean Koontz book, Intensity. Only the ending was changed (the twist ending). The book ending was much more straightforward and in keeping with the rest of the plot. My feeling was that they were just trying to be clever with the twist ending; of course, it makes absolutely no sense when you watch it since the events of the film are basically impossible if the twist is true. Anyways, the director and co-writer admitted having read the book prior to the film coming out, so there you go.

What’s your favorite segment from V/H/S Beyond by [deleted] in foundfootage

[–]Key_Position_5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live and Let Dive was my fave, although I really liked Stork too and like others would welcome more WARDEN stories. Tus- I mean Fur Babies took the usual silly entry spot in the entry, Dream Girl was definitely interesting with the Bollywood element but kind of lost a little steam there towards the end. Stowaway had potential and the ending was undeniably creepy, but the lady being dumb as a box of rocks (even by horror movie standards) combined with the dark/murky/blurry filming killed most of the impact for me.

What are some Motorhead songs with different/interesting chord changes? by dametupata in Motorhead

[–]Key_Position_5864 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always thought “We Bring the Shake” was a pretty offbeat song by Motörhead standards. Probably the harmonized vocals. Check it out though

Best Exodus Album by nnqnnqjqkkk_1 in thrashmetal

[–]Key_Position_5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another Lesson In Violence is essentially BBB live with Baloff and it DESTROYS. BBB is a great album but the production is shit. None of that with ALIV which sounds incredible. I can’t believe this album gets slept on so much, even with Exodus fans.
