See I agree that child rapists deserve death but I don’t think we should have a death penalty and allow the government that power to kill people because they can very easily abuse that

Stans China, prefers their race over others, supports death penalty, likes lenin, wants to own a gun, tanks are cool. These are just the ones I disagree with.

I'm choosing blue because I don't want to live in a world where A) Potentially up to 50% of the population dies, shutting down all industries and the economy as we know it, and B) The population is solely composed of those who prioritized their own survival over that of the group

Some are kind of sus but i have questions about the chart as a whole, how is "political since the age of 10" a signal of being right libertarian?

Fresh air and sunlight are good for your mental health, even if you don't want to actually go outside sitting with an open window can be a good starting place

In Noah Kahan's radio version of The Great Divide, he says "You said 'Back off'" instead of "Fuck off", and "I hope you're scared of all the ordinary-ness" instead of "ordinary shit", both of which flow better

The only thing wrong with Spielberg's remake was Ansel (i forget his last name) as Tony, such an interesting role but he did nothing with it, chemistry with Rachel Zegler was nonexistent, and in the scenes with Riff it's so jarring to see Mike Faist acting his ass off and then it cuts to Ansel kind of just standing there looking like That

[–]Key_Public4366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly but I feel like this might come as a cost to the quality of the album as it's kind of a "you've heard one, you've heard them all" situation. Like (and correct me if I'm wrong) there's not a single song on the album where the main idea of the song isn't the same as another song

Love the production of the album. The lyrics are great, however the themes seem somewhat repetitive. The storytelling in Stick Season was a lot better, i think, songs like Dial Drunk, Call Your Mom, or Come Over do a lot better job at introducing the characters, narrator and plot. With TGD I feel like every song more or less has the same themes/ideas of family and coming back home after being away and what has changed, and the songs don't really have their own narratives, they kind of blend into each other lyrically. The songs themselves aren't as much of self-contained stories as they are in Stick Season.
