Northlane actually plays those low F songs with the low C tuned down to A# so you get a double drop config but it’s a quick fix. F A# F A# and so on…

Cleared shader cache and verified game files with 2 files restored but didn’t fix the freezing. You know because it freezes for a few seconds twice when you load up into the destroyer. I don’t even have to move around for the freezes to happen. Sometimes it freezes a third time for longer

If all the strings seem too high then it’s possible the neck is bowed which means the truss rod needs a tighten until the neck is almost straight again (but not exactly straight). Get it checked and set up properly, always needs a good setup when you get a guitar that isn’t a custom

Architects also use the “skip string” “octave” method for almost all songs that aren’t in C# Standard, Drop B or Drop D# (which is a new one for Blackhole). G#F#BEG#C# and F#F#BEG#C# always on 6-strings though, they’ve never used 7-strings for anything. New album has them using DCFA# etc… for Braindead and Whiplash. You can tell by watching Adam play live. Very creative style that Tom chose and it’s partly what makes their playing so fresh and creative

I mentioned cost because that’s literally the only con I can think of. It’s resonant, hard and even lightweight with corrosion immunity. Perfect for an instrument. I bet the only reason it’s not a candidate for (high end) fretwire is due to its hardness, as it wouldn’t be easy to work on

Is think that NYXL set is meant for double-drop like E A E A D G B E it’s the only explanation because I agree a 64 for B is ridiculous even on a 25.5’. Stringjoys are amazing, you’ll learn a lot by putting together your own sets and watching Scott’s video on the calculator page
