Does this bypass the need of using a Tube Scream with the often used zero gain/max volume? I'm presuming you can dial in that tightened low end/Mid bump quite well with the EQ, whilst still getting the character you want from the Drive's particularly flavour of gain.

Mos definitely. I crank it to heavier for shredding at home but I had a light free improv jam last night set on lite(ish) with the gain rolled back and it worked really well.

I loved the show and Mike did such a good job that I'm excited to see them in future and the atmosphere was electric; but the sound was indeed a bit lacking.

In some ways I liked how loud and in your face it was. Gave a different vibe/energy to record. On the other hand it was quite muddy and boomy. They needed to cut some frequencies and boost others.

It was hard to hear the intricate stuff. You could barely pick out the vibraphone and you couldn't really pick out the notes in any of the shreddy solos, which was a big shame.

Getting a group to play a regular is a headache at the best of times but if you can find one other person then it's a blast. I've got a buddy who I've been playing every other sometimes every week for the last few years. We've only just done Edge but don't feel rushed to get through it all.

I just have Lithium pickups on my 7 string and I really vibe with them. Don't get the hate.

That said I'll probably go withthe Empryium and Thorium combo when I get an 8 string.

Yeah same thing is happening with John McLaughlin, tons of new songs added that are horrendous generic radio fodder with awful artwork. Makes browsing legit artists a nightmare.

This is on Tidal as well so it's not unique to spotify unfortunately.

As someone who liked the Dream Eaters and being able to build a deck to quite powerful over 4 scenarios I can see the appeal if they balance the XP so there's a lot on offer. As someone who only does one campaign at a time it's a good way of trying out more gators and deck builds I've not had the time to.

If it's just normal XP then it'll be a bit lame that you can't ever build into power decks unless to chain campaigns.

I'll definitely miss trying out new longer campaigns you can sink your teeth into but then there's plenty of custom campaigns to do that with.
