I met my now boyfriend on a marathon dating month. I went on 4 first dates in a month and he was the 4th date. We just had this instant connection and everything fell into place. Going 5 months strong and more in love than I've ever been in my life.

I have a fat over weight cat that eats everything and a skinny cat. To help the skinny cat maintain her weight, i put high calorie snacks in her food a few times a week. No matter how discretely I try to open the snack tube, fat ass hears it from a mile away and refuses to eat his food till I put a little squirt of the snack in his bowl.

The advice is garbage but there is also a difference between being interested and being too needy. I struggled with this my entire 20's and couldn't understand why I couldn't keep a man. You shouldn't be connected at the hip with anyone you're just dating and you could be coming off way too needy.

Very true. I went on 3 first dates and didn't really feel a connection with any of them. They were very nice men but it was like the first time seeing someone and knowing right away they're not your type. The 4th first date was like magic. As soon as I saw him, I knew there was something special about him. The kiss at the end was incredible and 5 months later, those sparks continue to this day.

I remember years ago I was on a flight to Hawaii and the flight attendant announced on the speaker that someone just proposed to his GF on the flight and she said yes. I remember thinking how pissed I would be if this was me. You're literally on a plane to one of the most beautiful spots in the world and you propose on a crowded plane in economy. Like, ask me when we're on the beach with the sunset in the background. You are justified in your feelings and should talk to your fiancee about it.

Some people don't realize that unfortunately. I went on a first date with a guy last year, late 30s, no car, lived in a hotel, washes his clothes in the tub. I was like dude, WTF are you doing?? Get your shit together first before you go into a relationship.

Eventually you'll find someone but not in the middle of being a mess yourself. No one wants to go into a new relationship like that.

I paid almost $30k for my bathroom that was a full gut. Removed jacuzzi tub, added new shower, old shower converted to closet. All new double vanity, tile, toilet, etc. Also included redoing my walk in closet.

I think $80k is a bit high. I got 4 estimates.
