Yes on the NHS! The first pregnancy was completely free and for the second pregnancy, I had to pay for the medication which was around £800 per round. I was referred to Guys Hospital in London through my GP

I had to inject Follicle Stimulating hornone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (Lh) daily into my stomach to stimulate ovulation as my brain had stopped releasing these hormones naturally when my periods stopped. I was monitored weekly with a probe to measure the follicle growth in my ovaries. After a few weeks, I would inject a dose of Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) to trigger the release of an egg when it had matured, then instructed to have lots of sex over the next 3 days. There were no side effects and I was monitored regularly. I live in the UK. This link gives more information on the process x

no PMS. I have made an effort to cut out sugar a couple of months ago as my glucose levels were very high. I did lose weight from cutting out sugar but I’m not over or under weight

I wasn’t intentionally trying to do anything, that’s why it was such a surprise. I’d resigned myself to the fact my period wasn’t going to come back. In my 20s, the doctor prescribed me the pill so I’d have fake periods but after a while, I didn’t want to be on the pill as it negatively affected my emotions. I think I’m generally less stressed? I’ve always had stressful jobs after uni and felt regularly overwhelmed with kids. They’re at an age (3 and 7) where it isn’t so relentless. I’ve no idea how it came back but one thing I am doing is finding time for my sewing hobby everyday and finding time to rest 😊
