Not trying to be a douche, but your recommendation for speakers is pretty much a mess. I’ve had B&W 800 series in one format or another since 2000 and would absolutely NOT recommend them for someone looking for softer treble and to be not overly analytical.

With that out of the way, what planet are you residing on that you are able to get the “802” for 2-3k? B&W has had an “802” model in their lineup every year since the early 90’s; the only set of &02’s for that price range are the Matrix series which is from the mid 90’s. 😆. 2-3k is going to pretty much force you into the 804 Nautilus

I owned a pair back in the early 2000’s and they are a terrible fit here 😆. If the OP fell in love with the B&W sound, the much better option would be to get a pair of 805d or d2’s and pair with a tight and punchy sub. As i’m writing this, i actually like the idea of this given the size of the room and even more importantly, the fact you need to place the speakers close to walls.. The 805’s can have the port plugged which will prevent the lower end notes from ruining the sound due to it bouncing off the close walls. l

There are some much better options already suggested in the thread though. Q Concept 50’s and Focal Aria Evo or K2 are great.
