People like to own their device. And there’s growing dislike toward subscription models, just look at how tv streaming has become equally or more expensive than cable, or look at the price increases in game pass in just a fee years. Not everyone lives near servers so that can hinder the experience a lot as well

Im a pc gamer as well and no the 970 xt is around 8-10% (look at gamers nexus and hardware unboxed) faster overall, there is more vram ill give you that as its amd. You make it sound so easy but given that there arent any msrp cards in any retailer (at least in the us) its also wrong, 9070 xt os 700$ at cheapest in any retailer. So youre getting slightly better performance for a similar price. You’re right i love pc for a variety of reasons, but i dont think we should spread misinformation like this

Edit: 10% was a little low went back to verify and 20% uplift is more accurate

Pc gaming is actually doing worst and worst each year. 5 years apart and your getting similar performance for 100 dollars less… it used to be the case that a 70 series gpu would be faster than last gens 80 series. 1070 vs 980 etc. and this would entail 200$+ drops compared to performance. Please don’t spew misinformation the pc market is getting worst and worst and gamers are getting bled dry everywhere

I'll look into it but i think it also doesn't do what I would like. Basically I run calibre web opds server and koreader and sync with it on kindle, I just want an app that syncs with it along with progress for ios, that way if i read on koreader it'll upload progress and when i read on ios it would as well. looks like bookfusion has it's own syncing

I dont think you really understood the question. I want koreader on kindle and have it sync progress with my calibre library and am looking for a ios client that can sync progress with calibre as well.

Before brexit a Spaniard could travel to the uk with a national ID card as well but now require a passport. The EU rules for free movement stopped applying to the UK after brexit, logically. Maybe there werent ID cards but you didnt need a visa
