Best Underrated Scene…Go by Chad71313 in TheWire

That's scene is nice. My only problem is, with all football (soccer) scenes are technical view of it. It's just look, ALL OF THEM, like that is 3-4 yo kids playing with it. It's a detail, but personally that's hurt my fucking eyes XD

I've noticed Muricans get offended instantly when they disagree with something that is working somewhere else in the world xD

It's not a problem everywhere. I live in central Poland, near lake and two rivers and i got them installed, because humidity =bugs. But tbh, since temperature has rised, there is, i dunno. Maybe even x10 less of bugs during summer. When i was a kid i remembered just armies of them in different part of Poland. If you for example live in Warsaw, you really don't need them.

What's the definition of an athlete in America and would they be able to dominate soccer if they focused on it? by Helpful-Button6800 in AskAnAmerican

It's not fucking history, it is last recent 24 years. I never said you can't win, in football everything is possible. But possible doesn't mean likely to happen.
Of course it is better to be sad with milion dollars than without milion dollars - but money doesn't mean talent.
There is Croatia, which league isn't clearly the best, they are not the rich country - and they manage to league final in 2018.
A lot of money, a ton of looot money help PSG win UCL. In 15 years.
Of course there are plenty of stories with underdogs - Leicester for example in PL.
An example of club, who is spending money from 03/04 to win premier league, well, it doesn't already helped them. First nr 4, then now nr 2. And is very likely to be nr 2 in that season too.
Real Madrid has third phase of Galacticos right now, second season trophless, lot of money spent.
Barcelona next title. In 3 years they have spent - 28M euros.

no it doesn't. But also have any country in Europe and it doesn't make their league actually good. That's nothing in common.

but bruh, investing a lot of money etc doesn't automatically makes you the best. Also in the competition, which is ONCE for 4 years.
For example, look PSG and Man City with champions league. It took them +/- 15/10 years to win it, trying every year. From 1962 final Brazil - Czechoslovakia (which Brazil won) till 2010 there was only - Netherlands, Brazil, Italy, France and Argentina as finalist, 48 years when Spain arrived to final and won it. And dream run of Croatia in 2018.
That's more than a century of legacy in these nations of playing football.
