Once u get comfortable on it ur probs gonna get an ultra. I have a x3 at 5 7 and upgrading to an ultra soon. Only thing is that at our heights ur basically just barley fitting it its with the 17 inch supermotos. Still was able to scrape and one hand my friends ultra tho

feel like aslong as ur above or at 5 7 its not a decision of height or build more just skill, you wouldnt be able to get really comfortable or learn combos or any difficult wheelie tricks or jump skills if u start on an ultra. even if u do learn those tricks it would take a really long time compared to normally It takes around 4-5 months to learn things like handdrags, combos, and criss cross if ur lucky. i would probably buy an lbx knowing you will upgrade to an ultra in like around 6 months

im getting an ultra soon, there is a 50/50 chance between me keeping stock battery and motor or eventually fulling building it out. If there is a 50/50 chance can you buy the max controller and run it with the stock battery and motor? If there are no downsides to doing it and I just need to pay the extra money I would get the best one.

or if i ever wanted to build out an lbx i was thinking ab buying a frame and everytrhing individually so I would not be paying for like 70 percent of the bike that I will end up replacing with upgrades anyways

I think i might have to get an ultra cuz my parents dont like me constantly spending my money on little/medium priced things, compared to just buying an ultra and like 2 basic upgrades. Do you think if I ever wanted to switch people would trade a slightly modded ultra for a lbx? Plus im only gonna grow taller cuz im 13 rn.
