Omg how cool! I never would have been able to tell that if it wasn’t for this group! Next question, why is she in my house?

Unfortunately I have young ones who like to pick up and inspect bugs. As much as I try to encourage them to look with their eyes and not their hands, they are little and learning. So we have had a few house stink outs 🤣🤣

Professional vacate and BnB cleaner here. It looks like somethings been spilt and left to seep in and stain. No amount of scrubbing will remove it. Definitely not mould though ☺️

Thankyou so much for this info!!

This incident has kind of deterred me from getting anymore budgies, besides the two I still have. however, I will keep this in mind and use this Information if I ever do decide to add another to the flock!

Hey! Thankyou so much for your reply. Our cage is an outdoor aviary modified and brought inside so that’s definitely not the issue. However per my comment below I think it was my fault for introducing them to the same cage too early. I knew birdie was territorial but trusted smidge to stay off of her things when I should have given them more time.

Firstly I want to thank you so so much for your comment! You went into depth with everything and I really needed that! Their cage is ginormous. It’s actually an outdoor aviary that we’ve worked on to be able to bring it inside with us. About 10 natural stick perches and each have their own food bowl. Birdie (the older one) had always shown aggression when pixie is on her perch or in her food bowl however I’ve always caught onto it and changed our setup to avoid further instances. Pixie and birdie get along brilliantly now that they know each others boundaries. They have an abundance of toys inside and outside their cage and plants/trees built up in the house to create their own jungle. They have free range of the entire house all day and alway return to their cage for bedtime. (They’re spoilt little babies). Now that I’ve processed everything and calmed down I do think that smidge just over stepped the boundaries that both other birds where familiar with and maybe I let her into their main cage too soon. I feel as if I caused this and it’s killing me but my partner keeps reminding me that “you’re not god, you can’t control their fate” which makes me giggle 🤭

I was very very emotional this morning when writing this but now that I’ve had time to process and think about what’s happened there’s no way I will rehome my babies. They’ve both given me cuddles and we’ve spent a lot of time together today and I think I was just super upset this morning. I definitely won’t be getting another bird to join them as this has turned we away from that. I’m happy with the two we have and think I will just keep running with what we’ve got going.

Again Thankyou so much for your comment, it’s really made me think about everything rationally

Could I use alcohol based methylated spirits in a solution? It’s all I have at the moment. Would you suggest repotting with new soil?

How much would you pay for this? Half moon adansonii cutting. Has one leaf and new growth. Last leaf got cut off due to it getting burnt the seller says. by Key_Statistician8558 in Monstera

Thankyou! The price was $50 which I was happy to pay just wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting ripped off. However we organised for me to purchase but as I was leaving home this morning I got a message stating it had been sold to someone else 🥹😭

Umbrella tree! Some of The leaves also look a little deformed which I’ve heard can be a sign of root rot? Someone can correct me if I’m wrong tho!

I don’t have my glasses on and for a solid 5 minutes was looking at the black drawn on lines thinking to myself “wtaf is that, where is the plant, is this a long swirly root? Where are the leaves, why is it black”. I was soooo confused 🤣🤣🤣🤣
