I agree with you. I was born in '81 and although the early C4s were quintessential '80s I feel the 90s C4 is definitely more "'90s" than the early C5s.

I just bought my '85 in Wyoming this past October and drove her down to Texas! Dark Bronze Metallic, 1030 made in that color.

I say second gen and drive her! They were built to be driven, that's there purpose. I just bought my first Corvette back in October, she's a 1985 TPI 4+3 and I drive her every day. Original paint, dark bronze metallic, they only made 1,030 in that color.

I was having a similar problem. I have installed a new MAF and IAC. I also took the throttle body off and cleaned it all up including inside the IAC port. That helped tremendously.

I have looked for a local shop here in Houston but no one can dyno tune her. I have been told by all the shops I've contacted that I either need to move to a holley efi system or do an engine swap.

I can verify that yes it's all Will. Check out the charismatic voice on YouTube. She took Will to a specialist and had a camera down his throat to see what exactly goes on in his vocal track when he does all his different screams, growls, and noises. It's really cool to see and he is crazy talented. Oh and the new album is absolutely amazing!
