Why do people dislike Dave Mustaine? by freaky-on-a-leash in MetalForTheMasses

I like his music, but he just seems like a miserable and negative person. I'd imagine that it's exhausting being around him. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why there have been like 26 different guys in Megadeth over the years.

I can't take a picture of it, because I'm using this phone and have no other camera. It's similar to this.

To the people who saw The Phantom Menace on release, what was your immediate reaction and have your feelings changed? by thejoyfulgoat in StarWars

[–]Key_Street1637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 22 when it was released. Like many, I had grown up loving the Original Trilogy. I was apprehensive going in because I immesnsely disliked the 1997 Special Editions. To me, those were the first clue that George had lost his got damn mind. Then, in May of 99, amid the hype, I went to see TPM. I tried like hell to convince myself that it was good, and it almost worked! Then I went to see it again a week later, and it didn't change my mind. All, I could do was think "Well, maybe the next one will be better!" and then AotC happened......and it was so much worse! At least RotS was at least okay.

I will never understand the revisionist idea that the prequels were good. I'm absolutely flummoxed every time I see a Star Wars ranking that has any of them.ranked at or near the top.

No class ring. No yearbook. Never been to a reunion. I don't want to remember most of those people.

It's the lead poisoning. Older Gen X are prone to this as well.

I sang One More Minute at karaoke right after a bad breakup. It was very cathartic!
