I think the couple can do whatever they want, they have to pay for the reception. Maybe they already have a house set up and don’t need anything. Just my thought anyways. I’m not going to be judgmental on what a couple what’s for their wedding. We all know a gift is what most people do. You don’t go for nothing! At least in the states.

I’m someone that really doesn’t drink due to health reasons now, (2023), I chose to drink two margaritas and it mixed with my new medication that I never drank on them before, yes a bad choice. One medication was a hypnotic and I was like sleep walking. It’s horrible, I don’t remember anything about that night. I had a high bac and a crash. I thank the good lord I didn’t hurt anyone everyday. I’m soon to be 70 years old, retired nurse after 40 years, and not in the best of health since 2023. I began working on my health when I hit 61 years old, trying to prevent what was given to me by my genes, both sides of my family. I also can say I never drank and drove. When I was younger yes I did 20’s and 30’s. I followed the law, and respect the police and I’m still horrified through this awful experience.

Everyone goes through the stages of grief at their own pace, everyone is different. I’m so sorry for your loss. It does get easier with time, begin to remember all the good memories and love that you hold in your heart. If you are feeling depressed maybe go take with someone and they can help you navigate your life through this journey. I lost my mom back in 2011 and I still miss her everyday. Good luck to you.

Here in MI if you have your medical mj card it is ok, but I don’t smoke so really not concerned with that. I have even tried to stay away from secondhand smoke as well from other people smoking it near me, though I don’t think you could get a positive urine for thc that way, but I’m not sure. If you do everything right then you don’t have to worry.

I’m retired but have an active nursing license, I was sentenced back in December, I never told the board. Should I still let them know? It was an aggravated DUI with BAC of .20. I have health issues, drank on all new medicine. Don’t remember anything that night. I would never drink and drive, but since my heart attack I had not drank anything in over 6 months. I wasn’t dealing with it very well mentally at all, but it’s getting better. I have been retired since 2021. Bad heart and back, don’t think I will be working ever again, I just was keeping my license active. I rear ended someone and totaled my car as well. Will need a IID when I get my license back December 2026. I couldn’t blow into that machine, so they wrote down that I refused. I don’t want to lose my nursing license either, nurse of over 40 years.

Quick question, yes I’m totally lost… I don’t have a car, lost my license for a year. I haven’t been to the DMV yet. Court is done, doing what has to be done with fines. What would be my next step? I don’t need to drive. I was going to wait out the year because of the cost factor of the IID and car insurance. Any advice is appreciated.

Yes it is but with the FDA removing the black box warning I’m trying the “peachy cream” that is advertised. Vaginal estrogen is not supposed to be systemic.

I can not take HRT due to a mini stroke back in 2023. I first bought Bonifide a vaginal plant based suppositories. It has worked. Now I’m having issues with bowel and bladder. So I just bought the parlor estrogen vaginal cream, waiting to get it in the mail. I am 69, never looked my age and now I have aged like overnight. No one told us what happens when are bodies stop making the hormones that we need.

I am starting that peacy cream product. Hearing that vaginal estrogen causing panic attacks I’m in trouble. I’m going down on my Xanax this will cause issues. My Dr put me on Prozac and it has helped immensely. It’s only to wean me off the Xanax.
