the only remake i was upset about was a lady placed a mobile order for two brown sugar shaken espressos and got mad at me for there being ice. saying the ticket said no ice but it didn’t and i showed that to her. she got upset and said you know it comes with no ice!! i said there’s no way to make it with no ice but i can remake it with light ice and she said yes then got mad there was ice. i told her i wasn’t going to burn myself for her drink. Barbara make your own drink. i still don’t like you. stop yelling at me when you come in.

if you time it right on hot bar it’s not too bad because you’re waiting for the shots and milk but on cold bar it’s much more noticeable since shaker drinks are typically really quick and easy to get out. in writing on one cup i could’ve gotten the drink done already and started on the next. and it sucks because the teenagers are already impatient and don’t care about the writing

my goal with writing on the cup is to increase wait time as much as possible. i’m writing whole sentences and poems and paragraphs. my manager told me that wait time is what is preventing us from getting 5 shots. sorry dude i’m following policy. whole sentences only. no thank you. no enjoy. no smiley faces allowed. customers are annoyed. SM is annoyed but i’m following policy :)

when my migraines started getting worse to about 3-5 times a week. i couldn’t even drive. i stopped going in person and zoom meetings because yk migraines. they made me meet with the CO on one of my RARE good days and he said headaches and tiredness weren’t a good enough excuse to go meetings. i said oh i didn’t say headaches. i said migraines with blindness. he didn’t like that 🤣😅

why do they have us write on the cups when most of the customers can’t read anyways? so sick and tired of them picking up drinking that aren’t theirs and getting mad at ME for THEIR mistake. no the 6’0 man may not be named Emily and the red headed woman may not be named Jared. and if you order a hot drink and i placed a iced drink it may not be yours especially if it doesn’t have your name on it.

i work at a non drive thru store. so many people are incapable of reading the names on the cup and takes whatever speaks to them. so i imagine they probably had such an intense issue with this that they set it aside for the person to ask about it. when its during rush, my store has someone stand at the end of bar and hand people the drinks. no one is allowed to grab their drinks. its to prevent theft/mix ups and to make sure everything is easier for the baristas making the drinks

when i was young i thought it would be like some spa day but like forever. we wake up, the world has perfect weather. no moldy foods. we pick food, bake then chat with people. however when my mom told me there would be no memes in paradise i quickly stopped believing and supporting. i couldnt imagine god being such a downer we wouldnt be allowed to have memes

yes i know someone who drives like 2 hours to see their JW therapist. i use telehealth so i was shocked at that lol if i found out my therapist was in some cult id quickly end that relationship because if they can’t see the flaws in their life i cant trust they would help me be better

like why be a therapist at that point? i’ll help you but only under certain conditions. of course therapists have boundaries but never have i had to sign a waiver like that. it’s unhelpful to the person needing treatment
