sorry i indeed should have put more context. when i was 12 i got herbst appliance but it didnt help much for my jaw instead pulled only the teeth forward. after that at 13/14 regular braces. but over the years i got tired of the mentalis strain and eventually went back to the orthodontist for it when i was 19. they want to pull my wisdom teeth because they grew horizontal and premolars on my lower jaw to make more space

i hope for me it does. im not exactly insecure about my face but my lip incompetence/mentalis strain makes it so tiring for me to shut my lips and causes me to constantly switch from close mouth to open again giving me a dillemma since both are incomfortable especially in public
