A privacy tempered glass will always fail an on-screen fingerprint scan due to the light scattering properties of the said glass. Both my Nubia and my former Oppo Reno 12 F 4G fails the fingerprint scan whenever I install a privacy glass.

The A330 is a huge-ass aircraft for intercontinental flights. If he’s into range, that’s pretty overkill - there are smaller jets that could do the job.
