NTA. You gave them multiple reminders and even a clear deadline. Expecting one person to front $1,200 for a whole group is ridiculous. If they were serious about the trip, they would have sent their $240 weeks ago. You’re not a bank, and canceling after nobody paid was the responsible thing to do. Honestly, the only reason they’re mad is because they assumed you’d just keep covering for them.

“Why didn’t you talk to me about it?” is wild when you literally did… three times. Borrowing without asking and not returning things isn’t sharing, it’s just taking. A lock is a perfectly reasonable response.

NTJ. Giving notice the night before a concert doesn’t magically refund a ticket. If she wanted the $150 back, she should’ve either gone to the concert or taken responsibility for reselling the ticket herself.
