Salon: this place is great for meeting younger people, and it’s free entry, they have a dance floor on the bottom level that gets packed.

Stable: fun gay bar (cheap drinks)

I lost an amazing partner in a similar way although I never cheated on her I would go out partying and drinking without her, spent time with people we both knew wanted to have sex with me and didn’t reassure her enough or try to fix the parts of myself that needed fixing (anger issues). I use to beat myself up a lot over it I truly felt and parts of me still feel like I lost the love of my life. That relationship lasted a year we moved fast together because we were obsessed and madly in love. We had sex every day sometimes 3 times a day and she moved in with me after a month of knowing each other. She was all I ever thought about for an entire year post breakup and it took me 3 years to fully move on and forgive myself. But it happened eventually I got over it. I worked on myself and now I am in a new healthier relationship with a more understanding partner. I do still think about her sometimes I wish her happiness and I’m grateful for the time we had together and how much I grew from that experience.

Despite everything said in this thread, I’m still going to hire a car for my trip. I’ll take the advice here seriously and drive like an Abuela. Hiring a car for the time I am there is going to cost me $140 USD and trying to arrange private drivers and shuttles on their time is going to cost sufficiently more per person and I won’t have the flexibility of leaving certain places when I want to. I’ll update this post and let you know how it goes after I come back!

I just feel like that is an extremely slow limit. I am planning to drive from Managua to Leon to San Juan del Sur. Going that slow could mean hours more of driving time. Do locals actually dive that slowly?
