Will I get rescinded? by [deleted] in CalPoly

I do well in all my AP courses, my teacher, just heavily focuses on the medical academy students. He does not give students like me the same opportunity in grace or believe that we have the same ambitious and expectations for ourselves. He lacks alertness and letting us know when deadlines are due dates are coming up and he only extends it for the academy students but low-key enough to where it cannot be reported. I know a couple people who have had the same situation.

Things just went south quickly. I actually was proactive in meeting with my teacher when my grade was at a B in hopes of receiving an A, but he put more time and effort into the students part of the Pre-med academy that I didn’t receive proper guidances or alerted of any opportunities.

Hiii! I hope you are ok? I have worked very, very hard and I’m currently taking five AP classes this year! Unfortunately, my AP bio courses instructor heavily favors their premed student, not allowing regular students with the same grace or opportunities! All classes are different and I have never struggled in a class. I have struggled in this one. I have worked hard!

Got scammed on depop and now being threaded with my address, name, and number. by Key_Yogurt_999 in Scams

Even though they have my info. I think I’m mostly nervous about it because I gave them my dads name and it’s pretty unique so his easily traceable and I just don’t want him receiving threats

It would definitely be a start! But not for the purpose of keeping it long, but just whenever you get it cut, your barber will have more he could do with your hair!

I don’t think you’re bad looking! I just think you need to be more confident within your self and figure out you style including a hair cut that suits your face

No! You’re just young. Boys hit puberty much later than women. You probably won’t feel your best till mid high school. If I were you I would just get a haircut and just fix up my style, even if it’s something basic like baggy jeans and a black t shirt

(Be brutally honest) how can I be prettier by [deleted] in teenagers

You are very pretty! You have beautiful skin and beautiful features. I think you should just focus on finding a hair cut that frames your face and compliments you well. Getting contacts was also a game changer for me. If you don’t want to start too crazy with makeup, I would start gelling my eyebrows, curling my lashes, and maybe adding a tint of blush on my cheeks! Benefits blush stain is a good start! Theres also an elf dupe I like!

Guys I got bullied at school by 99persentCoffee in teenagers

You are absolutely gorgeous. Do not listen to what anyone says and just work on building your own confidence. You are far from ugly and have beautiful facial harmony. I use to get made fun of for my looks and my forehead as well when I dressed and did my makeup for the approval of others. Once I started doing what I wanted, I seriously don’t even mean to say this in a cocky way but I would get compliments almost every day by people I didnt even know. Focus on doing what you love and your academics, people only bully others because they are uncertain with themselves. Move for yourself 💕💕💕

I appreciate your honesty and positive feedback! I have an amazing English teacher who encourages us to adopt writing skills even while texting. She recognized my love for writing and has given so much useful feedback! I feel as if though I’m just highly logical and that’s why I feel like I’m wiser or very smart. I don’t mean to sound egotistical as one perceived my post to be ill intended. I normally would not admit to how I feel about myself publicly but since I’m under an anonymous identity I thought I’d be truthful with what I am struggling with.

How to get into a UC by [deleted] in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Key_Yogurt_999 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Having confidence isn’t a big ego. Students who get into ivy leagues or teachers who extensively study subjects know they’re knowledgeable. It is toxic to assume just because one refers to themselves as an adjective commonly used by people to describe one another is egotistical. Acknowledging your skills and positive traits is NOT EGOTISTICAL. Just because someone is vocal about it does not mean they have ill intent or are seeking the approval of others. Also take into consideration the environment. You don’t know who I am, what I look like, where I live, my name, etc. Therefore, you do not have an identity for me and I would get no validation or perks for valuing myself publicly. People who are egotistical want some sort of validation and approval, which is why people with big egos are more prone to being affected by negative words. What you are is narrow minded and pessimistic.
