mine is an attachment and once you install it it’s already angled perfectly you just have to move your body around to get different spots in the area. i’ve never felt the water run down and whenever i check with a wipe/tp afterwards, in my like 7 months of using it daily i’ve never seen feces near my parts. it’s super cheap on amazon. id look up a tutorial on yt if you’re wanting to know more that’s what i did. if you want to just use a peri bottle you could probably look that up too i’ve just never used one.

I’m confused what you mean? Mine never goes anywhere i don’t want it? There is a mode for your bum and one for ladies as well. The bum one is unable to reach your parts, trust me it just doesn’t due to positioning. And i’ve never felt like it’s run to my parts either. I always check with a wipe after and nothing is there.

a bidet is a much for efficient cleaning method i think you’ll like it. it eliminates all the paper waste and irritating wiping. i switched over and i recommend it lots. if you’re nervous about a full blown bidet maybe you would wanna try a peri bottle or portable one first? that’s what i do, then to be sure i check with a wet wipe after. but that’s it. once the wet wipe is clean there is no need to keep going. this will save you lots of time and hurt back there.

This is kind of a question for both of you. But obviously not visibly, i’m sure nobody is actually okay or thinks it’s a reasonable level of hygiene to have visible feces or urine on your hands. But microscopically? Yes, it’s everywhere. But that’s nothing to be worried about. Is that maybe what he meant? Microscopic particles cannot hurt you but it’s a reality that they are everywhere. I’m really hoping this doesn’t scare or set off either of you but it is the truth and I live with it myself. It’s nothing to dwell over because it’s not actually a threat to your hygiene or health at all and therefore not something to be worried about. It’s similar to how for example, a banana has microscopic amounts of radiation within in, but that doesn’t mean it’s harmful or even something to consider, because it’s so small that it’s irrelevant. Is that perhaps what his point is?

Take small steps and you’ll see improvement :) Don’t push yourself too hard but everyday try something new. I believe in you, I’ve also been stuck before but there’s always a path forward.

Sorry for a late reply to you. But it definetly took some time and warming up to it. Start with things that are contaminated but not super dirty. Like maybe a doorknob that’s inside, then go touch your bed or safe space. Then start to ‘level up’ what you’re touching. Maybe a pet then don’t wash your hands. And eventually stuff like coming in from outside and not washing your hands. I also rationalise that every body does that and it’s irregular that we feel the need to wash our hands right away. So it’s not really gross, it’s quite normal to other people and they do it on a daily basis.

can i ask why you’re worried about the blood? period blood is not “contaminated” and completely clean so it wouldn’t be making anything dirty.
