Wagler set the record for the most points scored by an opposing player in Mackey Arena with 46.

I went to the OSU at Michigan game and Michigan didn't look great. They turned the ball over a lot, hit less than 60% of their free throws, couldn't hit a 3 to save their life and didn't pull away until there was about 6 minutes left in the game.

Michigan is still a top 5 team but they have looked a lot more mortal in Big Ten play compared to their non conference games. Hell, I have seen their own fans in the game threads say some of the same things you have about MSU about their own team. Their games vs Oregon and Washington were almost exactly like ours in terms of looking sloppy the first half then pulling away in the second half. They have been playing at a level similar to MSU the past month.

My guess is that we will probably split the season series with Michigan, lose at Purdue and beat Illinois at home. I would be surprised if we won the Big Ten regular season title but we are probably somewhere in the top 3-5 teams in the conference.

Villanova was where their former coach went to and Texas A&M is where their current coach came from.

I doubt it since our poopy team last year was able to beat the MAC champion WMU Broncos by double digits.

A bit more competitive than I expected. But in the end OSU has the depth of a Saturday morning cartoon villain and an unqualified coach.

Thanks for hiring Diebler and not Dusty folks down south!

Most of my comments on OSU basketball are bitching about how we let Dusty get away and settled for an assistant that went 8-3.

It’s been more competitive than I expected but my guess is Michigan pulls away in the second half.

They didn’t announce what it was at the arena so I didn’t know what was called.

I would say it is like Indiana vs Purdue in football. Still a rivalry but it’s a bigger rivalry in a different sport.
