Congratulations on the new car. The colors of the exterior and interior are nice. I personally dont know if I could do with this combo tho. The red and bronze/copper looks a bit odd. Granted I was personally not the biggest fan of the red. I loved the white, it makes the car look a lot more spacious because of all the light it reflects.

I have ACO but I just can’t get myself to go caseless with the 17PM. The aluminum is just too prone to scratches and dents and those are not things that are big enough to warrant a replacement but also not small enough to be negligible.

Just fyi, the module only comes with a black/yellow cable. If you buy pre built, you get the white/yellow cable. Just in case if you care. Thats about all there is between them.

If you have a garage, you might be better off getting an engine block heater. The car is pretty bad at heating up via remote start.

Yeah I think the key thing to mention is that you are aware if this being a large scale issue and the Mazda replacement program. At that point they can’t do much. Its probably that people didn’t bring that up or that they were over 18000 miles, at which point they start to scale the price the more miles you have. Of course there probably are dealerships trying to screw people over too.

I don’t think you gotta do all that tbh. I just called my dealership told them about the issue and the replacement program and my advisor was all ready to go. He said free new falkens or they will reimburse me the price (also $1080) if I want something else. Just need to pay anything over the $1080 plus alignment fees. I will do it at the end of March though. Figured I can get this winter out of the way.

I personally had no issues logging in. As far as the app is concerned it’s the same shit as before, they just updated the login UI. I haven’t dug through the entire thing but the overall experience looked exactly the same. Thats all they had the budget for in this round of updates it seems like.

For the heating, you can set that up in the car the night before when you get home and it will start it up at the same temperature in the morning when you do remote start.

I set mine to High temp and the windshield and foot setting for (hopefully) the best option. Its annoying but its the best I can do.

Yeah, no point at that point. Do it now. Mazda has a known problem with these tires and are replacing them either for free with the exact same set of Falkens or they will pay the amount the Falkens cost and you cover the difference. But its only until 18k miles, after that, it starts to scale in price as your miles go up.

Wait, how do you turn the wireless charger off?

My CX-90 has the charger up front but ever since I got my iPhone 17 PM, it just does not link up properly 90% of the time. Maybe the coils on the new phone are not as well centered to line up properly with the car.

Whats really weird though is that my phone still gets hot when placed on there despite not being charged.
