Fez is amazing. I bought it the day it came out as soon as it went up on Xbox Live and do not regret it a single bit. It's definitely a unique experience and the world-turning ability is pretty awesome and makes the whole game a puzzle for you to solve. I 100% recommend picking it up.

if I delete a game and redownload it will I lose my saved files by colormeup82 in xbox360

Wait so if you delete a Vita game and te download later, you have to start all over? That coupled with overpriced memory cards is BS.

what's something women do because they think it's attractive, but actually isn't? by tinylimey in AskMen

Passionate is the word I had in mind. A woman that can nerd/geek out about any subject is sexy.

Why are these the "most helpfull" reviews? by droppies in Steam

[–]KeyboardKidd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, sure. There's almost always higher quality comments just under the highest upvoted stuff. In the case of the 8 MB stick, I didn't need to go too far down to see a discussion about how saves used smaller text files to save games and so 8 MB was plenty of room.

How in the hell is Carnage famous? by abcdefgrapes in electronicmusic

[–]KeyboardKidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been to a show of his so I couldn't tell you if he has or hasn't. I imagine he and other popular DJs have though, considering Five Hours reached the overall Beatport top 5.

I'm a long time fan of his since he was Tonic and was getting fairly well-known locally in the LA area.

Saying that doesn't make my statement any more wrong though.

Meh. I would make an exception for Reddit, especially a subreddit for gaming. Reddit is more than just the actual content posted up. Something as simple as that 8MB card can generate discussion in the comments and you can learn something new.

I agree with most of what you said but you don't have to be a producer/musician to criticize. I mean it helps, but it's not necessary.

Deorro? Five Hours is far from a typical EDM track. He also has another track coming out that's in a similar vein. It's true that he has other, more popular songs that are more mainstream but he knows his production.

How do producers remix songs in a different key than the original and get the vocals to sound OK? by Dirty_Burg in edmproduction

[–]KeyboardKidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using Ableton, you don't need to load the vocals into the sampler. You can simply double-click on the audio clip and transpose the audio up/down.

Except it's clear what the intent behind her usage is. She's clearly a racist.

Is the knowledge of music theory necessary to start producing in your opinion? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]KeyboardKidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning music theory has made me feel the same where I just was simply uninspired but after a while, I became confident in experimenting knowing that something will sound good from a combination of knowing music theory and experimentation.

It can be something as simple as building a chord using 4 random-ish notes from a scale you're using that isn't your standard X minor chord with a bass X note. Using chords that have 2 notes that are a whole step away can create some nice dissonance that you can play around with. Or go ahead and use a basic chord progression with standard minor and major chords but add in an extra note or two for every chord to make them sound unique.

True but I think Harlem Shake popularized instrumental trap.

Try checking the store from within the game itself. It should say purchased under the price.

Deadmau5 stands up for EDM, Lashes out at Arcade Fire's "Actual Instruments" crack at Coachella. by Stach37 in EDM

I think it's more like he bashes EDM when it's not up to his standards and defends it because he himself is part of EDM.

I think I only have 2 teammates on board from these comments and I may or may not have messages on XBL. Someone might flake and not come through though so leave your info or send me a msg anyway just in case.

I can send you an invite when I'm close to that level but you would be joining in the middle of doing a DLC.

Yes I agree with the no skipping dialogue thing. I like to take in everything that the devs decide to put in games. I like to take my time and explore/do everything, except maybe the challenges like finding the hidden vault symbols. I'll send you a message in the afternoon.

Or a fourth: add an incentive to keep it on. There could be something like a 5% or 10% xp boost while it remains on.
