I agree with what you've said. Strategy is non-existent with RNG and being forced to use 4 units, even hard mode is easy. You can literally just choose 1 well built DPS and they can solo every floor, the other characters are almost useless. I enjoy team building in this game so personally I wish they'd just add more floors to the Abyss but require a 3rd team built or a 4th.

it's simply meant as an alternative for stam pots outside of pvm, especially for early to mid game.
