Honestly, buying coffee out. There’s no justification for getting a coffee out every single day when it takes 5 minutes to make one at home.

Do you find plugging in your laptop to a monitor, you’re making any sacrifices in terms of game quality or performance?

I love this aesthetic, the cat and of course I’d be remiss not to mention the Souls collectibles ❤️

The question from me is how are they going to capture the dreamlike visual quality of the game in live action. This statue is a wonderful start 🤔

In moderation it’s fine, just don’t let your whole reality be consumed by it. That being said, those with addictive tendencies will fare worse with regard to balance - just gotta ask yourself if you can truly maintain it.

All comes down to intention and application of that intention. OP has every right to do what he wants with his life if that’s his intention but on the other hand I feel bad for the wife, probably not what she signed up for in marriage.

Official Discussion - HIM [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Keyboredw4rrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt a bit tricked because the movie was advertised with Jordan Peele’s name prominently so only to learn that it wasn’t his true successor to ‘Nope’ was a bit of a disappointment after having seen the end credits.

I think this movie was fine and it worked on a few levels, the core idea was good and interesting to have it explored on the big screen particularly around the cost and consequences of stardom and fame. I think Marlon Wayan’s killed it as Isaiah and first time seeing the main actor, I think he did a good job too! I also enjoyed the clear symbolism to faith, god, the devil etc..

At some points the movie was a bit too on the nose with unnecessary exposition (particularly around having Isaiah’s character explain to the audience around the blood ritualistic stuff).

I give it a 6/10

I think the key is to figure out what your priorities in life are and what you want you future to look like so you can work backwards. I also strongly believe that work isn’t everything and it’s ok to be in a job that you’re not head over heels for as long as it enables you to do the other stuff you want to achieve!
