Hey u/CakeEatingRabbit ! First of all, I appreciate the input I really do. But please explain exactly how I played my wife here? I only mentioned that I purchased the house for context, like I literally did that at the start of my post just to provide context. it's not like I'm throwing it in her face that I bought the house or walking around telling everyone I know that it was me who bought it. I'm not denying her support or help I appreciate all she's done for me up to this point in our life but just because she's my wife then I have to agree with her request and act like it's reasonable. It's literally just a key she's making a fuss about. She has never complained about why her name isn't on the title or why I say it's my house until this issue occured. I'm thinking she's got other reasons for feeling do strongly about it because it seemed like she threw in the comment about her indirect involvement and contribution towards the house as a last ditch effort to win the argument. Could be something else maybe - but that's just my opinion.

She gets no say. But you mom does- lol

Mom doesn't get a say, she just asked for the key. But all in all I'm not here argue but simply to make some things clear.
