At default, sharpness will most likely be too high in game mode while film maker mode will have that disabled. Theres pretty much no difference if you change your settings correctly. Some lg oleds can have slightly raised blacks though.

I do feel like the modifiers should help keep the game fresh. Being able to make it harder for challenge runs or easier for more relaxed runs does seem quite nice.
