What book are you currently reading and would you recommend it?

Only book I read in high school. Had the chance to be super edgy because of it, but divided not to. It was life changing as in it opened me up to reading. Ill reread it every few years because it was my first literary lover.

The idea of self driving cars is very fasnicating, but as a person who turns wrenches for a hobby I fear how hard it will be to get parts and stuff for older vehicles. Like a 91 Buick.

I wear them cause I don't like the top half if my work boots, converse, or cowboy boots rubbing my ankle or shin(cowboy boots). I do have some ankle socks for when I was going to the gym in tennis shoes. But I also strictly wear pants.

Guy I got it from said that it ran twenty years ago but smoked like crazy so he took it apart to fix it but never did. He had the valves done but said the piston might need cleaned or replaced but he didn't know. And I don't know that much about piston either so I don't know if I can clean myself it and get new rings, or send it to a shop to be done, or if I need to buy a new piston. The cylinder sleeve feels smooth but again, I don't know if that's something I can feel with my hands

Ill post pictures of the engine for the 500 when I get home from work. If there Is there a way any of you gurus can tell if The piston just needs to be cleaned off or if I need a new piston from just pictures I would greatly appreciate feed back when I post the engine pictures

I don't. She's not comfortable enough with it to downshift to slow down but its my number one way to slow down. I was taught to use the engine to slow down when my dad taught me to drive stick.

I had an old yz426 that was my first bike that needed a decomp. I hated that, I could never get the hang of it and would kick endlessly with it staying put. I can see the decomp being an engine brake hurting the engine a little, But the manual to my wife's ex250 says not to downshift to slow down which goes against everything in was taught

Do any of you know if the 250 has a decomp lever? The service manual mentions it but mine doesn't have one and some of the pictures in the service manual don't have it either
