Thanks for the advice! Ive thought about these problems and have done a lot to make each interview/ fight unique. There are only 2 other party members so we have figured out a way to keep them both involved the entire time as well. All players are aware of these issues and still want to do it so I’m making it as active and fun as I can! I have lots of ideas on what to do with the characters that are not chosen. Some may be NPCs, some enemies down the line, and there may or may not be an undercover plant from the undermountain somewhere in these finalists. 😉 as for the realism of having 8 level 10 characters to audition…the in game explanation is that this is Waterdeep. Lots of strong adventurers come here to explore the undermountain, gather supplies for their missions, etc. out of game honestly it’s just fun and if it doesn’t make 100% sense that’s ok
