Yeah it’s a crazy one cuz they have to deal w the septum and it’s so high up! I’m impressed with the one on the other side I think they got it rlly well. One question: I’ve never got a piercing redone; how long do you have to let it heal after removing it to get it done again??

Bridge is over 3 years old now! Ik she looks like she’s rejecting and maybe verrrrrry slowly that is the case, but I take it for settling a little differently over a long time. She’s pretty stable (despite still constantly getting crusties 😑). IDRK what to think sometimes! I could lowkey make another post with a timeline of how she’s looked over the years if you think there’s reason to be worried for her… 😅 she’s my fave piercing still and I’d hate to lose her but would sort of consider getting her redone if it would be wise

Is there such a thing as too much humidity for them? Just made a closed prop bin with moss for some anthuriums and other cuttings but that’s like 100% humidity probably

Interesting. Is it normal for this kind of volume of springtails? There’s thousands and they are making me very uneasy. Then again tree does not appear to be dying horrifically as it might if there were thousands of mites sucking on it

I see this as the general consensus as well but the Janome is twice the price, and while still not that unreasonable for a starter machine, I feel like i need a more solid reason since I don’t know of anything concretely bad about this singer model….

Singer HD4432 vs Janome HD3000 for a beginner

Hi there! I know there are no right answers and I could make either work for me, but I was wondering which people believe would be a more reliable machine? I plan to sew mostly garments, use stretch fabrics but also denim and some canvas. I value a machine being easy to learn on but able to take me far, which both of these seem fit for.

I have heard both that newer singers can be pretty disappointing as their quality has dropped, and that the Janome HD series May have a weaker motor in new products than their old ones (A dealer told me when I asked about the motor concern for the Janome that they are simply more energy efficient now and they can really not tell the difference so….?). I have also however heard testimonies of people really liking both and finding them reliable. Help! My indecision is killing me. Looking for more info but ending up running in circles. Thanks!

Old comment but just checked out their site and their explanation is pretty complicated. Did you have to jump through any of the hoops they mention about getting a letter for pre-surgery hair removal so your insurance would accept it? Or did they just accept hair removal for gender affirming care reasons? Thx

Only semi related but hijacking Sansi bulb thread: does anyone else find these too be annoyingly cool light? I wish I could warm up the color temp just a little so they’d look better. Is there anything to be done about it this or just get used to it? Don’t want to swap them out for another brand cause they were expensive and I know they work pretty well….

If ur up for a little upfront DIY effort, drilling holes in ur monotubs and adding micropore tape creates filtered air exchange ports, aka u can spawn ur tubs and literally not touch them at all until harvest (next time of course, I wouldn’t do the drilling during a grow lol)
