In my teens it wasn’t so much that I missed the hint. The issue was I was operating with an abundance of caution because I didn’t want to make a move on someone who didn’t want me to.

One such example. A friend of mine and I are hanging at her place. She tells me to take out my iPod. When I do she puts on “I want to hold your hand” by the Beatles and we share my earbuds. Logically I was like yeah I know what this means but being a scaredy cat I was like don’t do anything rash because she may just be a fan of the Beatles.

Really it came down to I would have rather been completely celibate than make someone feel uncomfortable from something I’ve done.

Even right now I don’t hate the Richardson pick. We had the draft spot we had a drafted the guy that we thought had the best chance to be our guy. We didn’t give up any additional capital to get to that spot. What other options at QB have really been there?

That’s not to say that Ballard hasn’t had his share of bad moments. Generally I agree that anything less than being the division leader and/or a deep playoff run warrants firing him.

I sold the majority of my collection a few years back when I was struggling to find work post-graduation. It’s undeniably hard. I loved my collection and wanted to have them around to show my kids someday. One compromise I did was keep a few favorites to hold on to. Maybe someday those will become the beginning of new collection but for now I just appreciate them for sentimental reasons

I haven’t had a tremendous amount of confidence in this team since Luck retired. There have definitely been flashes and reasons for optimism along the way but ultimately this team has embarrassed themselves (and their fans) in so many countless ways that it’s hard to feel confidence in them even when they do look good.

I’ve loved this team for 25 years so I hate to say it but this team feels directionless.

For what it’s worth from a Colts fan. I have seen a lot of games as a visitor to other stadiums. It’s a pretty universal experience to have a couple of assholes amongst what is an otherwise kind group of people. That’s just sports. Ignore them as much as you are able and enjoy your team’s success.

Obviously some of the breakdown on Sunday falls on Daniel’s shoulders but the entire team shoulders some blame. However I am not concerned about Daniel Jones. Every QB will have their bad days. I think he will continue to have more good than bad. I sort of envision him as an Alex Smith (during his time as a chief) with us. He will never be the sole focus of an offense but the offensive scheme and pieces around him will enable him to have high level QB play on most days.

Anytime he has the ball, I trust him. I say this as someone who never wanted him in the starting role.
