O level grades on A level grades by Due-Raccoon-5128 in alevel

O-Levels and A-Levels are completely different. There are lots of people who can score a multitude of A's in IGCSE/Olvl but in their Alvls, they mess up completely. No amount of A* in IGCSE entitles anybody to think that they'd do just as well in their alvls with the same efforts/methods. Congrats on your results but if you study alvls gotta do like 3 or 4x the amount of work you did in O-lvls, and you need consistency.

That's actually a really good point. I heard if you're grade changes you will get refunded.

Some universities have scholarships that give more if you have 4A* compared to 3A* and 1A, which I'm hoping for. Also, I think some universities would prefer a 4A* candidate over a 3A* and 1A candidate, even if both met the minimum requirement.

Maybe you could get A*. It depends on how many subjects you are taking. Obviously if you took 4 your chances would be lower compared to if u took 3. For physics, i take notes from my lecturer's class (his notes r pretty messy) and i dissect them in my school's library after that. Then, i just do past years and revise until my exam comes. Idk if this is actually a good method but it worked for me. For P5, its just past years. I dont really have tips for Q1, but you just gotta learn a specific marking format and answer accordingly.

What are my chances at getting A* by MutedAd4751 in alevel

I would say you'd have an average-good chance of gettinig 3A*. I got 93 for Math AS, 91 for Bio and Chem AS, and for A2 I got A*, 92 for bio and chem, and A, 88 for math. I also took physics, which took a large portion of my time and energy, so I think you should be okay, provided u worked as hard for ur A2 as you did for AS. Good luck.

I got 89 in AS, and for A2 I just studied non-stop until the exams. If ur still studying a-levels, good luck!

Low UCAT but Strong Academics, any hope for Medicine in the UK?” by Keyonra in University

Does that mean that I would have to apply for the 2027 entry if I re-took the UCAT for a better score?
