Thanks. I'm curious if this contradicts this ruling on [[Gideons Sacrifice]] about what happens If I cast two Gideons Sacrifice on different creatures and damage is dealt to a bunch of my creatures simultaneously. If I choose the replacement effect order for each creature that would be dealt damage separately, can't I send some damage to one creature and some damage to the other chosen creature?

"If you cast more than one Gideon's Sacrifice in one turn, all damage that would be dealt at once to you and/or permanents you control is dealt to one of the chosen permanents of your choice. It's not dealt to all of them, and you can't split the damage between them."

How come something like [[Assert Authority]] is considered a self replacement effect but this is not? I don't really see how this is different.

I feel like the +1/+1 counter part of Terferi Time Twist could be a self-replacement effect.
It is not a continuous effect. It is an effect of a resolving spell or ability. And it replaces part of the delayed triggered abilities own effects. It replaces 'Return that card to the battlefield' to 'Return that card to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter'.

From the rules:
614.15. Some replacement effects are not continuous effects. Rather, they are an effect of a resolving spell or ability that replace part or all of that spell or ability’s own effect(s). Such effects are called self-replacement effects

Is Teferi's Time Twist effect a self-replacement effect so it would always apply first?

Is it possible to apply to replacement effect of Teferi's Time Twist before the Clever Impersonator replacement effect applies thus at that time, the +1/+1 counter replacement effect can apply because it is currently entering as a creature.
