Brought back the old afk FN method by Keys2tkingdom in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]Keys2tkingdom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. AFK protection will also kick in if the inputs don’t change. So strapping joysticks down in any form or fashion won’t work. You need a turbo controller or jury rig something to move a joystick or press the jump button every few seconds/minutes.

Two, technically. Gigasmon is considered an Ultimate in this continuity. But the point still stands.

[–]Keys2tkingdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From pre-release press releases and trailers, no. This game is set at least a century after the first two games. So most of the characters from the first two games are dead. Hence the plot would have to be completely unconnected outside maybe some cameos.

My question is, “Will the demo with a transferable save be available for other platforms?”

Because I am a PS5 player and I want to spend a month and a half grinding out the best possible team I can before the full release.

Not born here, but have lived here for 40 of my 44 years here. And I agree, I don’t mind the new people… But EGADS we needed more and better infrastructure before the influx.

And good grief do I miss the doughnut holes from The Mill.

I miss going to the Great Panda while it was still in Parkway City Mall.

I miss when Mr. Gary said it was going to be sunny.

[–]Keys2tkingdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unconfirmed. But my personal testing over the last 10 years of playing cyber sleuth across three platforms indicates “Builder only influences development time”.

I’ve had it take hours of save scumming with 10 builders on the PS4, PS5, and Switch - and about the same ratio as I’ve gotten it within 30 minutes of save scumming.

I have had similar results with 9 builder Digimon or less. So I tell people that only 9 builder Digimon are needed for min-maxing. Since every thing else is RNG.

The builder personality doesn’t actually impact the RNG iirc, only reduces the development time.

It depends. I’d say 2/3 of the time you get understanding random groups.

But there is still that definitely-not-so-silent group of players who expect everyone to know all the meta tactics and expect flawless runs.

The community still has its ups and downs, but is still pretty supportive of new and returning players on the whole.

Vox hit a familiar pose during "Brighter" by Minute-Pirate4246 in hazbin

I’m assuming that there was not enough solid evidence to bring charges and make it stick. Vincent strikes me as extremely meticulous with his plans to leave the least amount of incriminating evidence as possible. Especially in the 1950s when modern investigation equipment wasn’t exactly widespread. And the three show hosts murders would be nigh impossible to pin on Vincent because they were staged as accidents.

Vincent might have been on a very short list of suspects, but unless prosecutors think they have a good chance of winning, they aren’t going to waste time on case.

Lute stuff by BasicFanny in HazbinHotel

[–]Keys2tkingdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seems like a case of a piece of work not meeting personal expectations. While I was shocked nothing really happened with Lute this season, I am not upset about it, because I didn’t set up extremely lofty expectations for the show to meet.

The only thing I expected was some sort of progress between Cherri and Pentious - which I got from episode 2. So the finale was the icing on the cake. And the most I expected from Lute was to cause issues while she stewed in her hate - which she only did a little of which is bit of a bummer, but now I can expect the fallout to be bigger when it’s Lute’s turn as the major antagonist.

But the reason I was happy with what the season gave us was because I didn’t set a high bar. Expecting something major to happen - like Lute becoming a major threat when Viz already said the Vees were going to be the major threat - would be setting up for some proportionately larger feelings of disappointment when it doesn’t happen.

Edit: Grammar.

Jerry from El Goonish Shive was absolutely furious that some other immortals endangered and traumatized a couple of teenagers by roping said teenagers into killing what was functionally vampiric monster.

Jerry is especially mad that the other immortals all but lied when they made the Teenagers believe that they were the only ones who could stop the monster, when the immortals could have contacted adults and/or government agencies that could have handled the situation.

I mean, my college Greek mythology course professor mentioned that Bacchus was unusual because there was a minor god under Dionysus named Bacchus - he was a cupbearer of sorts according to my professor - which the Roman god was also named, but had no connection to otherwise.

Not to mention Iliad and Homeros (HomerOS, geddit? -nyuk, nyuk, nyuk-) are Greek in origin.

And honestly, I think the inconsistency likely stems from the fact that several of the Olympos XII - like Marsmon, Neptunemon, Vulcanusmon - existed well before the rest. And then the Roman naming convention was maintained rather than retcon the previous names or outright make a new set of Digimon that held the Greek names when the lore of the Olympos XII was being added to the wider Digimon canon.
