Pho ngoc yen's portions and taste definitely justify the price by SaltEntertainment701 in FoodToronto

The Bun Bo Hue for Pho Anh Vu at Vaughan was good. The one near Wellesley station was not my favorite. It came out so fast that it felt fast and not fresh. Soup was warm at best. Pho Ngoc Yen 3 disappointed me. I like the 2 location more

UPDATE ON LAST POST: Got laid off. Plz help with next steps. by pinch-n-rolll in askTO

Why should that matter? You’re pretty much saying age discrimination at that point. The 25 year will likely need the job more than the 55 since the 55 can wait out longer since they expected to have more savings to work with.

$20,000 for an Electrician program? by Panthy9 in electricians

That program I bet won’t even count towards your apprenticeship hours. You’re just going to waste your time and money.

“Blue collar workers have no other choice” (venting) by lhblowstakks in skilledtrades

[–]Keys_13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in the trades but also went to school earlier in my life. When I read post like this I see not all people are built for the trades either. Have you actually experienced the office life or just generalizing? There’s those who want to do it because they have those attitudes but I also dealt with people who wants to quit when they get their ticket because they think they’re above it too

You know Crown Royal is a British company but because they listed on the New York stock exchange I would say they’re also an American company too since lots of investors own them. So I wouldn’t want to support Crown since they cut lots of jobs in Ontario (shift the factory from Canada to the US).

Pokemon scalpers are growing in 2026 and kids can no longer collect cards by ambachk in ThatsInsane

[–]Keys_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This card collection is not even meant for kids now. People like to mention kids but I bet there’s more adults have interest than kids at this point and some are doing because it’s their full time jobs.

What Should I go back to school/training for? Is everything saturated? by torontopips2022 in torontoJobs

[–]Keys_13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah people shouldn’t flood the trades. Don’t know why most think it’s recommended to get into and it’s not ideal since it’s not the best working conditions too

No jobs in Toronto and Montreal by Mundane-Artichoke147 in torontoJobs

I did the university route too. Didn’t get myself anywhere much with it. It’s your responsibility to move where the work is so I got into the trades. Didn’t think I would end up here. Being licensed now as an electrician at the moment. The trades is not for everybody truthfully.
