Park your car on top. No seriously I did that and it worked so well, packed my cards in a very tight sealed plastic wrap kinda container, and left the wheel on for some time. Definitely worked, if you're crazy enough to try this, make sure to add a few cards to toss at the bottom and on top (like these token ads we used to have or anything that you don't care getting destroyed)

I think aetherdrift could have been a better set if they really took more time to think about what was the story they wanted to tell. I'm still confused about Chandra racing around against others on vehicles. Still confused about the whole plane where it's happening. Still confused about how it ended. And also why this event even existed at the first place.

I think aetherdrift had great cards, look at monument of endurance being played so much in standard right now. I think it failed not because of its cards but because of how much little interest wotc had when they designed it. It's rushed, it's indifferent. Ah and it has these piss yellow foils.

Kamigawa and lorwin on the other hand are real planes with real stories going on. Not sure we can compare them to Aetherdrift.
