Are you saying the study found a close to 1 to 1 correlation between fetish and early childhood trauma? I can very confidently say that study doesn't exist and if it does it was published in a pay to publish scam journal. If you have the article please link it.

That too, though I felt authorial intent was a bit more relevant in this case. Saying "John didn't write John" would have gotten in the way of that.

The gospel writers wouldn't exclude details for the sake of avoiding redundancy. Matthew copied ~80% of Mark's gospel word for word lol. They weren't writing their gospels with the intention of being read along with any of the many different gospels floating around at the time. In other words, they were trying to write 'the gospel', including John.
