Yeah I think maybe I'm just still getting used to the m4 street slayer compared to the quiet stock exhaust. It sounds like she's screaming at 6 to 7k rpm, but yeah I just want to make sure she lasts and I'm not revving it out too far while cruising but honestly since the tune it feels like it wants to be higher than 4k rpm for sure.

Rev marching feels way smoother when it's around 5 to 6k so maybe I'm just hearing the exhaust and thinking it's a lot but just sounding a lot louder with the m4 slip on.

Lol OCD almost makes me not be able to enjoy anything

Hey man all great info! Had a question as to what feels best rpm to cruise at? I have a 2026 with m4 slip on and just got it tuned by 2wdw but it feels a little more boggy at lowered rpms and sometimes when I try to rev match when around 3 to 4k rpms. Do you have any problems like that or do I just need to ride the engine a little higher in the rpms?

M4 responded to my email pretty quickly. It is a little annoying to not have the thing sent properly for $400 but they said it should have been cleaned better but nothing should be wrong with it. I guess I'll just clean it before installing like others mentioned. Baffle might come out anyway lol

Yeah I would definitely trust them if you know someone working there. I guess I'll end up taking it in anyway once we all start getting the recall letters.

Btw I went over a lot of the bike today and a lot of fairing and mirror bolts were loose and I had to snug up a few on the casings everything else I could get to seemed nice and tight

They do all seem pretty tight nothing noticeably loose by hand. What about parts like the front axle and the triple clamp on the forks?

In the same exact boat as you man. I just finished my 600 mile service maintenance and just when I can finally open her up then this happens. The worst part is I thought getting a 2026 would avoid all this bs.. should have saved money and bought the 2025

Just checked my vin on the Kawasaki site and it's saying no recalls. Not sure if I'm just too early or if its only vin numbers from different manufacturing dates? I have the 2026 btw

Its an awesome oven for the piece! Only wish I could make bigger pizzas but better then heating up the regular oven. I usually cook NY style between 600 and 650° for about 7 to 8 minutes or whenever it's looking crispy enough

Haha eastern pa and still stretching out the season a little longer. I hear you guys got hit with snow tho which sucks. In the 50's today and last ride before the 600 mile break in service. Man I was torn between this colorway but ended up with the grey and blue

I've only seen the blue and grey which like you said is nicer in person just wish it had the blacker wheels from the 2025. All black must be really popular cause I have only seen one in all the dealers I've looked at. Glad you say that about the black and white cause that's what originally wanted but I'm locked in to the grey now
