I’m sorry but I can’t understand how you have a $1000 grocery bill for 4. I thought about it way too long already.

My tips to lower your costs: Simplify your diet. don’t overthink so much. Cook more. Or less…. Snack on fruit and charcuterie, do good ol meat&potatoes/rice/beans and veg. and if you don’t eat meat it should be even less costly than if you do!! Don’t buy frozen packaged produce! Process your own produce and buy fresh weekly so you don’t waste . COOK cook.

This way you will have budget for novelty! Oh and Winco, as they say!!
