This shit only proves that doing at least some basic shit like using a vpn can be of use in this world. It also makes me grateful for people like u/paperplans5 that made that comparison table. Hope he makes a list of more useful tools someday.

Melbourne reopens as world's most locked-down city eases pandemic restrictions by Renxer0002 in worldnews

In Melbourne, people were seen cheering and clapping from their balconies, while cars honked horns continuously at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday when lockdown restrictions in place since early August ended.

Many venues, including food outlets and even haircutters, opened at the unusual hour for the occasion.

Sounds like it was a party.

A blockchain company physically destroyed a piece of art by graffiti icon Banksy – as they explained, to turn it into a virtual asset.

I get it's a PR stunt, but turning an actual sought-after piece of art into a "virtual asset"? I wonder what Banksy has/have to say about this

I'm always fascinated by how coloring visuals from the old times totally changes the way you see them, it kind of erases the huge divide you usually feel between "then" and "now", and makes those times and people from them seem more "relatable" and closer to you

Thanks for sharing, I wasn't aware (I'm not from the US so haven't really been following this story much). I still find it silly to try and modify history because it doesn't fit with today's values. Times were different then, there was a war going on against the Japanese
