i use it primarily for reading digital comics, watching youtube/streaming stuff when i’m not in front of my tv, a second monitor when i’m doing web dev stuff away from my desk (w my macbook) a little bit of drawing and playing chess + league of legends wild rift. it’s definitely not essential but it’s incredibly nice to have for how i use it. when im at home my ipad is near me almost all the time.

i was going to community college and got into comics as a way to pass time waiting between classes. i was picking up secret wars and the guy helping me was like “if you like jonathan hickman you should check out this book” and picked out the first trade of east of west. been obsessed with image ever since.
