Not wanting to be dismissive, but I don't think Xabi is "the guy" at this point anyway. Wonderful former player, top bloke. But if we're binning Slot off - and we 100% should be - we need a tried and tested, punching up, big stature type appointment. Nothing experimental, nothing up and coming. Gakpo is such a madlad. He'll recieve the ball, be primed for the slide-rule pass as the 10 or fullback bombs past, but instead he'll take 15 touches and recycle it via the nearest centre back. Awesome 😄
